Our History
The history our company dates back to 1998 when the firm was founded. In 2002, Artem Usov become a patner of the law-firm, bringing in deep understanding of Russian taxation and labor practices. Hellevig, Klein & Usov was formed in 2005 when a strategic decision of combining the efforts of legal practices of Jon Hellevig and Daniel Klein was made. The new joint venture provided the possibility to diversify the existing services and to work with wider range of companies from various market sectors. Due to rapidly growing Russian economy, quality legal advice has become greatly demanded. The background in accounting, taxation and labor law contributed by the partners expertise in real estate, finance, corporate, contract and IP matters proved to be in the right place for international companies who were entering Russian market at this time. During the recent years the company has steadily expanded and opened new offices in major economic areas of the country.
